How to Use the Playbook
The hiring manager and recruiter should collaborate on building a New Role Hiring Playbook when kicking off a new role. It’s most useful when you haven’t hired for that role before.
- They will align on why the role is needed now, what that role should hope to accomplish, and which competencies are required to achieve that goal.
- Next, they should identify who should be part of the interview process (and why), the number of stages required, and what each interview should assess.
- Once completed, share the New Role Hiring Playbook with the interviewers on the team so everyone is on the same page.
Steps to Access the Template
- Copy this template to your Notion Workspace. Click “Duplicate” in the upper right corner.
- Duplicate the below playbook for each new role. Be sure to save the template so you can always come back to it!
